New Delhi, March 30 (IANS): Four labourers were injured here Sunday when a speeding BMW car hit them, police said.

The accident occurred on the Ring Road in southwest Delhi when 28-year-old Gurmeet Singh, driving his BMW in an inebriated state, hit a truck while the labourers were replacing its tyre.

"All the four injured people were rushed to the Safdarjung Hospital, outside which the accident occurred," a police official said.

One of the injured is said to be critical, he added.

Singh has been arrested and a case registered against him.
