Teams from 10 different nations such as
Children from Cambodia, Kenya, India, Kazakhstan,
Moldova, Romania, Rwanda, Swaziland, South
Africa and Zambia participated in the tournament.
The jubilant boys were escorted to Chief
Minister Naveen Patnaik's residence where
they were given a warm welcome.
Congratulating the team members, Patnaik
wished them all the best in their future
fixtures.
A felicitation ceremony was also organised
at Raj Bhavan. Speaking at the felicitation
ceremony, Governor M. C. Bhandare termed
the success unprecedented.
The team, which is popularly called as
Jungle Crows, proved that they are in fact
tigers, Bhandare said.
"Our boys have brought laurel and
glory to the country," said KISS founder
A. Samanta.
From Raj Bhavan, the team was taken in
a procession to the KISS campus where the
students of KISS and KIIT University greeted
the boys.
The team has been invited to play a series
of friendly matches in South Africa later
this year.
