Bhubaneswar, Nov. 20: As master blaster Sachin Tendulkar on Friday became the first cricketer in the world to complete 30,000 runs in international cricket, the boys and girls of DAV School in Chandrasekharpur area of the Capital city congratulated him in a novel way.
As cricket lovers across the country rejoiced over Tendulkar's feat in the first test match against Sri Lanka being played at Motera in Ahmedabad, the students of this school came out of their classrooms and stood in formation of 30,000 runs.
It was great sight when the students congratulated Tendulkar for his achieving the record and making the country proud in the cricketing world.
Thirty-six-year-old Tendulkar created the record by scoring his 43rth century. He has over 17,178 runs in one-day cricket and more than 12, 877 runs in test match cricket.
Tendulkar recently completed his 20 years career in cricket.
